Here we have offered for sale my 1999 TVR Chimaera 4.0 V8
As you can see from the photos the car is finished in Lotus Titanium grey with contrasting Mulberry leather interior.
Below is a brief spec of the vehicle:-
4.0 V8 engine.5 speed manual gearbox.Alloy wheels undamaged with full matching set of Toyo ProxesPower assisted steering.Electric windows.Full Leven interior aluminium upgrade.
I purchased the car 10 years ago and in my ownership have carried out the following work:-
Full top end rebuild with cam lifters and steel rockers.Rose jointed drop-links fitted all round.Uprated discs and pads with braided lines all round.Fully polly bushed.ACT carbon Superflair trumpets with smooth bore induction.Gaz Gold pro suspension.Recent new outriggers.New wishbones and all running gear blasted and two pack painted.Chassis rust treated and painted.
The car has covered 63378 which is backed up by M.O.T certificates back to 2006 and an extensive service history file with bills and receipts for all work carried out.
The car has M.O.T until 28th July 2019 (passed with no advisories). Due to new tax laws car will have to be taxed by new owner.
The car is in excellent condition both inside and out with minor marks and defects consistent with the age and mileage of the vehicle.
The car drives beautifully and has no known mechanical faults.
The car is fully H.P.I clear but please feel free to check this out for yourself.
Any independent inspection of the vehicle is invited.
For anyone looking to invest in a TVR Chimaera with all common issues addressed (as listed above) and no known faults or issues this is definitely worth a look. I viewed 7 or more cars when I purchased this one 10 years ago and this was definitely the best example available at the time. In my years of ownership the car has been improved and is ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
The car is priced accordingly taking into consideration the amount of work carried out and money spent.
