1994 4.3 Chimaerafor sale. The car is currently in daily use however, I have made the decision that I can no longer afford to run and maintain 2* TVRs (I also own a Griffith) and so one has to go (sadly the Chimaera) to provide maintenance funds required for the other, plus home renovations L - A more practical daily driver is already in-sight.

Overview

Condition report
Paintwork
Although in daily use, I would describe my Chimaera as a project. This is due to its frankly, terrible paintwork! The car has been painted around 6 different shades of blue in different places and sometimes with aerosol. I would like to add, not by me! It can be used as-is (as I have!), or requires prep & a respray. You can see a join on the O/S/F wing which I presume is from the fibreglass damage which shows on HPI in 2000. There is no crazing, or fibreglass damage to repair
Roof
The rear roof section needs repair/replacement. I have bodged this using Velcro & duct tape and this repair has held perfectly for a couple of months and has been completely water/weather proof. The centre section of the roof is in excellent condition and again is weather proof! The roof is blue.
Interior
The carpets have faded and there are stains in both footwells. I have not done anything to tidy/brighten them up however, there are superb products on the market to do just this if you have the time and the patience. The leather seats, steering wheel, dashboard and centre console are all in exceptional condition.
Chassis
This is in excellent condition and has been thoroughly inspected by Top Gear Automotive.
Summary
A very rare 4.3 Chimaera with low mileage and history Lots of money spent (with experts) within last 6mths to recommission vehicle and provide reliable daily transport Mechanically and structurally sound Project due to paintwork & rear roof section Desirable and expensive upgrades including; brakes, cage, headlights
