I"m a 72 year old classic British sports car fan/collector/trader/hobbyist and recently acquired this beautiful Chimaera in the course of my business. I"ve owned three Chimaeras in years past and can tell you they are fabulous cars, this is one of the best I have ever seen.
I also have two E type Jaguars, a Healey 3000, a Rolls/Bentley R type and a Mercedes CL500 that I am willing to sell or possibly trade. All, including the Chimaera, are appreciating assets. These cars will never be any cheaper than they are now and make great investments.
After agreeing to a sale of the Chimaera three times in the past three weeks, on each occasion the "buyers" having failed to complete. It has to go as I need the room, I have now dropped the price to well below it"s market value - so please, no silly offers. Do your homework first and check on insurance, HPI (it"s totally clear), your bank account, and ask your questions before you bid.
Finished in immaculate Pearl Green with magnolia hide and parchment contrasts. It has power steering, factory alarm, 2 keys and fobs, good JVC stereo with cd and usb, stainless exhaust system. 52,150 miles with a comprehensive service and history file including the past 10 MoT"s. Just re-MoT"d a few weeks ago with no advisories. I had it on a lift at my local classic car specialist last week and can confirm that the chassis and outriggers are in great shape, no corrosion and the waxoil is still fresh. The last service was done at 51,886 miles. The alloys are unmarked and with an excellent set of Falken tyres. This car really is one of the best and is outstanding in every way. HPI clear.
