BESPOKE BUILD:
Re-built 2015-2016 just 2,000 miles ago TVR Chimaera RestoMod - fully restored and modified with over 800 hours of labour alone invested in the creation of this Chimaera sprinkled with AC Cobra overtones. The specification was to restore and modify a TVR Chimaera to be a more modern, more stable, with the modern influence of an AC Cobra, so the car was extensively remodeled with 12inch rear wheels, AP Racing calipers, discs and rotors, blistered arches, MINI front headlamps 10inch front wheels, refurbished chassis, refurbished and re-trimmed interior. The result is quite amazing - not only does it look dramatic but with the 330 wide rear tyres it no longer wants to eat you, in fact it feels incredibly stable.
The body of the car has been built with blended blister arches and side skirts to cover the massive 12.5"inch rear wheels shod with Toyo R888 road legal track tyres and 10"inch front wheels with 245 Toyo R888"s. The look is finished with a redesigned nose with MINI front headlamps which changes the look of the car completely. To stop, AP Racing brake calipers have been fitted together with uprated front and rear discs and rotors, Gaz Gold adjustable suspension, Redesigned air induction system, refurbished chassis plus many new parts.
The battery has been relocated to the boot to give more passenger leg room and the interior has been fully refurbished and re-trimmed with modified Porsche 997 electric seats. New audio has been installed. The engine has been fully checked over and correctly serviced, the gearbox is delightful in its operation and all the wearing items have been checked and replaced as required. The car benefits from a fully stamped service history, remote central locking and boot opener.
