For sale is my Moonraker Black TVR GRIFFITH 500HC. Car has full black leather seats and brand new blood red carpets (has the new car smell inside)This car has an extensive history from the previous 3 owners and has a full service record, stamped service book and invoices since new. I have all the MOT"s (and tax discs)going back to 1998, 2 sets ok keys etc.
Last year during the summer the car was left with Hexham Horseless Carriages which was an official TVR dealer and specialises in TVR still and will be known to anyone who is familiar with the brand. The car had during the year a ground up restoration costing me a total of £13,475 which is all invoiced and you can speak to the dealership on 01434 601666. I have only done 100 miles in the car at the end of the summer before garaging it again in a sealed heated garage which is shown on the photos.
The car drives perfectly and is far better than the factory standard with all the suspension etc brought up to date so the car handles like a modern car. All pressures for oil etc. are perfect and you will see with the work I have done the car is virtually perfect. All service books etc present V5 etc
The only reason for the sale is I have a new car that"s been on order 2 years arriving late march and although I have considered keeping the TVR i wont really be using it as I have a number of different vehicles. The GRIFFITH is an appreciating classic and is a sound long term investment.

Outriggers with New jig formed frames
Full new suspension including wishbones and bushes
Bilstein Dampers and Eibach Springs
New interior including full new wool carpets done at X works (ex TVR fitters) in Blackpool. Carpets in Factory Crimson RED and full wool
New hood and targa panel
Full ACT Sports Exhaust including manifolds inc D cat Y pipes (ground literally shakes behind the car)
New radiator/fans
Extensive engine/transmission work including seals
New clutch/flywheel
Partial new wiring
New Aluminium dash and indicators and switches etc
New tyres
New battery including plug in plug in trickle charger for winter all connected to battery
Multiple new seals on transmission, gearbox
There is so much to list I can simply send a copy of the invoices on a PDF so you can see all work that has been done but I have done everything required.

As HHC will tell you any issue with the car I have dealt with even to the most minor seal leaks which most people would just live with as they are common with these cars and this is an opportunity for a new owner to enjoy a fully sorted car ready for spring/summer. It has been unfortunate I haven"t really used the car that much and the car owes me almost £33,000 considering what I paid for it and what i have spent so whoever buys this will be getting an absolute bargain.
The only work which if I was keeping the car I would do is a front bumper respray as there are stone chips and the windscreen at the bottom edge in corner has whitened but can be seen. Apart from that the car is totally straight, drives perfectly etc. I will put a new MOT on the car so will come with 12 month MOT. The private plate will come off the car before sale
The price of the car I am asking does not really reflect the condition of the car considering what has been done and what is out there and there is nothing close to this at this price.
