Rare low mileage black TVR S3 2.9 V6 Ford Cologne engine. These are a great investment as they are increasing in value as the numbers diminish, try to find a black one elsewhere. Black was the one of the only chargeable colours from new (i have an original price list) I have always wanted a TVR after i had the privilege of a factory visit some years ago and have been lucky enough to have owned the car since 2015. Unfortunately, due to work commitments at the weekends, growing family, i am not getting to use the car often enough to warrant keeping it. It"s it a proper English drivers car, it should be driven. The car starts on first turn, drives and sounds awesome, despite not been driven far in the last few years. The Black with Ivory interior is a great colour combination. I have a lots more photos (happy to email if you want to message me) lots and lots of paperwork showing all aspects of the cars history, alternative parts catalogue, manuals, (some of which cost £100"s each on EBAY) most MOT"s & bills for all the bits of restoration work over the years. Its in great all round condition, with new tyres all round. Yes there are a few marks, but nothing you wouldn"t find on a 2 year old car! Nothing major at all, but then again its not brand new, it is 29 years old! If you want a new one, they are £100K. I want this car to go to a proper enthusiast, who has the time (i haven"t got) and passion for TVR (always had and always will have), and most importantly the time to drive it, as that was what it was made to do. If you have the desire and time and maybe skill to do the few MOT jobs needed to get this part of English Heritage back on the road, this is the car for you. I"m not your typical seller, as I have no need, or real desire to sell! I know what this car is worth so wont be giving it away, its just time it went to a proper enthusiast owner who would appreciate and use it. If it doesn"t sell for the right money, it can stay in storage appreciating in value. The car is currently SORN due to no MOT. The car has been dry stored and well cared for throughout its life, as I hope you can see from the photos. (as i said i have plenty more if you want, please let me know)The only changes to the car from original are subtle, and include an aluminium gear knob and modern bluetooth stereo with new speakers ( i have the tape deck and original ford gear knob to come with car ) Infairness the stereo is little or no use with the sound of the car! A much better sound than any music anyway!
There are less desirable coloured cars on the Autotrader currently with 130,000 miles at over £7,000 take a look. I have seen dealers also selling at 10k plus this year, with higher mileage and less history backup.
The car needs the following work to pass the MOT. The jobs are small for a skilled mechanic. It requires Nearside Upper Suspension arm ball joint dust cover, offside CV joint gaiter, and a spot of welding on the front offside outrigger. All jobs (apart from the welding) i could do myself if I had the time.As I said this car has all the history, paperwork to back it up, all in date order as i"m sad like that perhaps! I hope the new owner shares the same sadness for detail as that"s what these cars need.If you have always fancied a TVR like me, you"ll only need to start it up to keep the dream alive!
