TVR S3 Cosworth 24 ValveThis auction is for my 1991 TVR S3 which was fully restored and converted to Cosworth 24 valve power in 2007.  This was a very comprehensive and thorough restoration and conversion which cost the previous owner around £25k I believe.  The BOA Cosworth 2.9 engine was built using parts and advice from Top Boss Performance who are the foremost tuners of the BOA/BOB engine.  This included specially developed cams and manifolds and an Emerald ECU.  The car now puts out around 250 bhp.  Excellent Storm Grey PaintworkGrey leather interior and carpets/matsGood hood, roof panels and back window.Escort Cosworth alloy wheels (recently refurbished) with good tyres to fit over big brakesEmerald ECU (programmable)T5 GearboxPiper Camshafts especially developed for Top Boss for the 2.9 Cosworth engineTop Boss Manifolds costing £2500New Alternator last yearRecent Oil and Coolant ChangeDifferential seals rebuilt two months ago by specialistStainless steel twin sports exhaustsAVO Coil Over SuspensionWilwood four pot callipers and discs upfront and V8S discs at the rear Limited Slip DifferentialElectronic Rev CounterImmobiliserExcellent chassis with outriggers replaced in 2007Photo record of restoration and large history fileThe car has an uprated cooling system with a larger radiator and swirl pot and stays at an even temperature in all driving conditions.  As mentioned,  it also has a T5 gearbox to handle the extra power.  This is a very well sorted TVR which has stunning performance for a fraction of the cost of a Griffith or similar.  There are no clunks or bangs when driving and the power delivery is very strong through the rev range unlike the V8 cars.  The TVR is very reliable and I would have no hesitation in driving it anywhere in the country.This car is not your usual TVR and is a very quick and well sorted S Series.  I am pretty confident it must be one of the best and quickest in the country.The car can be viewed ten minutes from Glasgow Airport and I have a pit in my home garage to view the chassis.  Viewing highly recommended.Please note you bid to buy.  Car to be collected within 7 days of auction ending and £200 deposit to be paid within 24 hours of auction ending or car will be relisted.
