vehicle description:

TVR TASMIN 350i registered August 1989 - G Registered. One of the last 200 or so built.
I am the 10th owner. V5 present and in my name.
MOT until 5th May 2016 - there is an advisory about the steering rack, it will need replacing by the next MOT.
Originally built with PAS but now converted to manual steering.
66668 on the mileometer which is backed up by most of the MOT certifcates the car has ever had.
Hadn’t been used for the last five years so was recently recommissioned with rebuilt front brake calipers, reconditioned rear brake calipers from Ward Engineering and a general sort out and adjustments which included some chassis painting for increased protection.
The automatic switch for the cooling fan doesn’t work but there is a manual override that does.
The interior is OK, there’s a couple of small holes from a cigarette burn I think on one of the seats and as usual, the walnut veneer is cracking and peeling.
It looks OK from a few yards but on close inspection you can see that it’s 25 years old - generally I’d describe this as a sound basis for improvement.
The photos don’t show the detail of the car, so please don’t expect perfection. The car is priced realistically to sell.
At present it has an Insurance Agreed Value of £4000
It is currently untaxed - anybody wishing for a test drive will need to bring their own insurance.
Please.......the time for a detailed inspection, a test drive and a discussion about the price is before the end of the auction.  Viewings therefore are welcome.........in fact I"d prefer that you saw it before you bid on it.  If you"re the winning bidder I"ll expect you to turn up with cash and drive the car home.
