Here we have my beautiful Reflex Silver 2003 (53 plate November 03) TVR TUSCAN S Mk1 targa top. A rare factory S model.
4 Litre Straight Six with the usual S spec upgrades over a normal TUSCAN including around 400 bhp, high intensity gas discharge headlights, close ratio gearbox, larger and drilled front brakes, air conditioning, front splitter, rear spoiler, different rear light layout, big bore exhaust system, 18 inch spider alloys, and S badge on rear.
Personalised plate T6 USK included, worth £700
Unmarked Reflex Silver bodywork (pearl effect in sun), anthracite wheels and black and portland grey leather and alcantara interior, with black carpeting and grey piping.
One of two Mk1 TUSCAN S models made with all aluminium Leven switches and not the gold colour ones which were the norm.
Overall the car is in excellent condition inside and out and wants for nothing.
I"ve owned this car since May 2010 when it had 15000 miles use, now showing under 28000.
It"s always been lovingly looked after and garaged, and having everything it"s needed (or I"ve wanted) doing done by experienced TVR dealerships and specialists.
Ian at TorqueRVT (Middlewich) has looked after it these past 7 and a half years.
Ice cold air conditioning and everything that"s electrical works as it should.
This summer it had its paint freshened up (same original silver colour), and also its 18 inch spiders, which were professionally restored with acid dip and original anthracite colour. I"ve got the TVR decals for these so these need to go on.
Wheel arches and linings have been protected and blackened with stone chip.
Tyres all good Toyo Proxes P1 with plenty of tread.
Chassis is very clean, and protected since new with Waxoyl. Each year it"s been checked and reapplied, and done last month.
Gaz Gold Pro coilover suspension front and rear and obviously ride can be independently adjusted.
Recent Yuasa battery, heavy duty starter motor, alternator, water pump, leads, engine mounts, boot rubbers, boot stay, Anderson connector.
Clutch and cylinder assemblies replaced 7000 miles ago (AP Racing).
Carbodomes headlamp protection.
Remote central locking with alarm/immobiliser and auto window closure.
Sound system with CD.
The engine itself is sweet and serviced annually. Tappets etc checked annually. Again done last month.
Engine is quiet running, always warmed up properly before stretching its legs, and oil level checked regularly.
Exhaust cans are original TUSCAN carbon cans with no damage and have been sleeved to give a nicer sound.
Accumate intelligent battery conditioner (12v trickle charger) is wired in from the boot, so can be plugged in to keep battery topped up and healthy.
TVR Union Jack badges added on front wings and bonnet.
Has always been reliable and has never let us down or broken down.
Comprehensive paperwork from new including order build sheet, full TVR dealer and specialist service history, all receipts and invoices, and two sets of keys.
Original sales brochure.
No accident damage and HPI clear.
MOT and service until end November 2018. It"s just had a 12000 mile service including tappets.
Car is registered in my name and I have all the paperwork.
An excellent example of a TUSCAN S that has been religiously serviced, maintained, and improved upon, but not abused.
