Good condition fast car, great fun 189HP variable valve timing 1.8L engine. 12 Months MOT. Low starting price.
Six speed gearbox and it revs to over 8000rpm with a distinct powerband when the valve timing changes at 6000rpm!
I bought this car five years ago with 100k on the clock and its never let me down. I replaced the clutch at 110K, had new discs on the back around 18 months ago and most of the brake pipes and the exhaust tail pipe were replaced around 12 months ago. Should just keep going this car for at least another five years without any major problems, the engine, brakes clutch and exhaust are all perfect.
The paintwork does have a lot of stonechips mainly on the bonnet and a very small (50p piece) dent on the front right wing (caused by a branch falling from a tree!) that I have shown in the last two photos. The quick release catch on the passenger seat is broken, (you can use the drivers side or just slide the passenger seat forward instead to let people in the back). The switch for the drivers side window has an intermittent fault although it always seems to work eventually so I haven"t got around to fixing it.
I also have a brand new roof rack for this car available for an extra £100 (cost me £180 new but I never got round to fitting it) if required.
