“In excellent condition for a 15 year old car, there is the odd mark but the main one would be where some of the lacquer has come off a small spot on the bonnet. The engine management light was on at first, checked with a reader and it was P0141 o2 sensor. Cleared the fault, bought a replacement sensor but it never returned. New sensor comes with the car.”

Very reluctant sale of my much loved 2000 MR2 roadster as we have a baby on the way and my wife is about ready to pop.We have now bought a 4 seater car with a boot and unfortunately i cant keep my roadster.It has been an excellent car and never missed a beat, always ready to go at first turn of the key. Has MOT until October 3rd 2015 and had no advisories. Mileage 105,700. Its an amazing car especially with summer just around the corner and its also the very rare green version. Since ive had it i havent seen another green one and i chose this one over a black one with red leather seats for that reason.The engine and gearbox are fine with no whirring etc and gears change beautifully. The clutch was replaced by the previous owner and was also serviced. I changed the thermostat for a new one and replaced the coolant, i also stripped down and cleaned the idle control valve as they sometimes stick. It came with an air induction filter on which gives it a nice sound. As you can see from the last picture i fitted some ghost lights to the bottom of the doors that shine the logo on the floor so you can see at night, however these only come on when the door is opened.It is also fitted with a very nice set of Fox Racing alloys that are in excellent condition These handle well, are light on the steering with no judders or pulls. Car also comes complete with hardtop which is good for the winter months.Obviously as with all cars of this age there are some bad points which at least give us something to tinker with for when we get bored,When i bought the car the engine management light was on, i checked it with a reader and it was P0141 o2 sensor. The new sensor i bought comes with the car for if it should ever be needed.There is also a small bit on the bonnet where it looks as if the lacquer has come off, it could be touched up if it bothers you but i left it as the weather was cold. There is a small rip at the edge of the softop although it doesnt leak, i never got around to doing anything with it as i had the hardtop on. When i bought it i had the folder with service history up 85,000 miles and lots of receipts but we moved recently and i cant find it anywhere although we are still searching.Well thats about all i can think of for now however if i remember anything else i will update.Car comes with one key and logbook is present.
