TVR True garage find!! 400se v8 all original

Welcome to my listing for this rare TVR 400se v8 that was a genuine garage find. that"s been off the road a few years! I bought this from an elderly gent who had it in the garage when i was doing some plumbing work. He had broken down in it 3 years previous, had a few different guys try to get it running but were unsecessfull . ... I bought the car and had a friend who is the best auto electrician I know take a look. it was running in 10 minutes.. innitial and main fault being a knackered coil. and after changing a faulty relay it runs properly. Other than that I"ve replaced fuel filters, put fresh fuel in it, and we tested the compression which is excellent and that"s it! it"s sat in my unit doing nothing and it"s not my kind of car if I"m honest so I"d like to see a TVR enthusiast show it some love. This car appears all original.. and would benefit from a paint job to make mint. interior has no tares or rips, and will clean up immaculate. I have not polished anything. it"s not how i like to buy a car all bullshitted up... But the main beauty of this car is the fact that the chassis is immaculate and fully galvanised.. The guy I bought it from told me it had a body off and full chassis galvanize to the tune of 10 grand at a Norwich classic car restorers. although he couldn"t find the bloody paperwork to back this up..and any real paperwork in fact.. bit annoying as he swares that he has a folder of receipts for the car!! and has promised to pass it on when he comes across it. feel free to chase him up if you buy it of course! All in all an original condition gem of a very rare car that wants light commisioning before hitting the road for the summer!! 56k miles Nice original split rim wheels. I don"t want the earth for it. but it"s earning me money sitting in my unit. so I"ll ignore stupid offers. 69 fastbacks forsale too...
