Here for sale is a lovely VW BEETLE 1.6 Cabriolet convertible finished in Beige with cream interior. The car is a Cat "C" Insurance loss through flood damage. The engine will not start and the engine management light is on. Therefore the car is being sold as for spares or repair however I would like to think it will be repaired as it a lovely car. It has covered 87165miles but only has 1 previous keeper. As you can see from the pictures the car is in nice condition. Please carry out all your own vehicle checks. The registration number is FX05 YAU and chassis number available on request. I strongly recommend viewing as a very nice car but also because it is "sold as seen" unfortunately other commitments is forcing me to sell. Please ask any questions before bidding. My reserve is low but I reserve the right to end the auction early should I sell via other advertising. Buyer to pay 10% deposit witching 24hrs of a agreed sale and full balance within 7days. You will require a recovery vehicle / trailer to transport.Additional information. The car has a few minor scratches and marks and these are mainly to the front bumber. The rear plastic wing and plastic bumber are not aligned on the off side rear corner and There is a missing hub cap but these seem available on ebay for around £8-£10. There is a crack on the passenger side of the windscreen caused by a stone chip and as regards to the service history of the car I have added a picture showing all the files, books and keys included within the sale. There is the 2 original remote central locking keys, the original owners manual book set in the original Volkswagen leather folder, the V5 registration document with previous keepers details, vw BEETLE quick reference handbook, the original vw service history book showing main dealer service stamps at 9869, 23833, 32505, 42662 & 46994 miles. I also have several invoices for additional work and cambelt changes. I have the original mot"s from 2013, 2014 & 2015. From what I can see the mot"s have been carried out at 28418, 32505, 36720,39451,46994 & 72080 which was carried out in 18Nov 15 and so the car has an mot until 7 Dec 16.Both front tyres appear to be nearly new and both rear tyres seem to have plenty of tread remaining. The fabric roof appears undamaged. The interior requires a good valet and the exterior I would say just needs a good clean to make it gleam again. I will try and add some more pictures of the worst bodywork marks.
