We have for sale a Volvo V50 SE D E4 which is overall very good condition. We brought this car with the intentions of replacing our old car thinking ours would fail the mot badly and guess what it sailed through so have decide to keep ours and sell this one. The car starts and is very smooth, drives very well and looks great has roughly 165,000 on the clock. Has the following good things going for it
MOT until 20 December 2017 so nearly 12 monthsstarts first time every timecambelt change at 124,332clutch change at 124,332total bill for above 1248 poundsgood service history and well maintained.good breaks and pads with good tyres
over all the body work is good with only one small defect on the drivers side.a couple of marks on bottom of rear bumper but not much so fairly clean car
Interierior has a slightly worn arm on drivers side but apart from that is very good. nice clean interior with everything working.
A couple of bad points.
When starting the car it has a slight noise which we have been told is the flywheel. Have had a friend of mine look at this and he says you could replace with a secondhand part for this is which around 80.00 or drive as is. He says his friend has a Volvo v70 and has had this for over 2 years and didn"t replace so up to you. When driving the car it"s very smooth and the noise disappears.
Seems to be a water leak coming from under the bonnet but my mechanic friend says without taking the car in he is not 100 percent sure what this is but has checked head gasket and so on and says not serious which is good . He checked the car for over 1 hour (which I paid him for) and he said these are the two things which may need sorting but to drive the car a bit and see how you go. Have done this and took the car for a 40 mile drive 5/01/2017 and everything was fine and dandy .Will start the car at a low reserve of 700.The car will be sold as seen with no return and cash on collection only.
