 This is a listing for a silver Volvo V70 2.4, 7 seater 5 door estate which is a lovely family car.
There is virtually full service history with 14 stamps mostly main dealer and at around 177k miles the car is in very good condition. The cambelt was replaced at 143k miles and much money has been spent on main dealer repair bills as can be seen with some of the service history.
The only real issues are there are one or two scratches down each side (look like hedge scratches see pictures) and the tow bar hook has been mislaid and is missing. The front driver seat has a small one inch seam split across the seat (see picture) which is apparently a simple repair. The sunroof stopped working and apparently it is linked to the siren for the alarm according to the Volvo forums so if you know what to do again it is a fairly simple fix.
Recently had a major engine decoke (oil and flush 5 times in succession with renewal of big end bearings) this has returned the engine to a correct working oil pressure (it was down on oil pressure before it went in for this work) which these cars have been known to suffer from around the 160km miles, and even though it has now done circa 177k miles it still drives and responds very well as I have been over to Norwich a few times recently and the drive was easy, effortless and economical. The automatic gearbox fluid has also recently been changed in the service schedule.
The MOT is until end of April 2016
Got all the usual Volvo refinements like power windows and mirrors, leather upholstery, heated front seats, multiple srs airbags, cruise control, dual climate control, air conditioning, alloy wheels with good tyres (lots of tread), good brakes, dog guard and two sets of keys.
The registration is before 1/3/2001 so the road tax is half price of the the same cars registered after that date, at around £20 per month or £240 per annum you get a lot of car for much cheaper road tax.
