Up for sale is my classic golf MK2,I have owned this car for the past 9 years, over which time much work has been done. My main aim was to produce a fast and good handling track day car, this was achieved and many an enjoyable day has been had revelling in the fine handling of This VW GOLF. However have not had the time or opportunity to be used recently and the car has been dry stored for the past 3 years. Now the time has to come to sell as I am moving abroad. The car has just passed its MOT. Here are some details about this car        
 ENGINE:    Low mIleage 1800 cc block with ported cylinder head, and new valve guides, fitted with TSR Fast road cams, Fuel injection system replaced with twin Dellorto DHLA 45 carbs, custom airbox with large ITG air filter, rebuilt gearbox, lightened flywheel, and sachs sport clutch. 4 into 1 exhaust manifold and Jetex 2 1/2 inch, 3 box exhaust system.
 CHASSIS :   KONI sport shock absorbers ( fronts are top adjustable) with EIBACH springs, poly bushed front wishbones and rear beam, wheels are 7J x 15 ATS cups which have been powder coated in white, tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 195/50 R15 all with at least 6mm tread.
  INTERIOR :     Recaro drivers seat on genuine subframe, detachable steering wheel, addition of Oil pressure and vacuum gauges,
 GENERAL CONDITION : Body had total respray approximately 6 years ago, and still shines up really well. There is wear and tear inside as would be expected of a car this age and mileage, has had some welding done underneath. This is a good example of an appreciating classic.
