I picked this car up for the girlfriend but circumstances changed and she no longer needs it. Which is good for whoever buys this car as i have completely overhauled it to get it running perfect.
When i bought this car the head gasket had gone, so stripped head off, head skimmed all checked and cleaned up. New head gasket and exhaust gasket fitted and runs perfect no problems.
When i picked the car up the EGR valve was blocked and not working, leaving a engine management light on and poor running. I have stripped this down and cleaned it and it is now functioning perfectly. New front cat pipe also fitted, both front wishbones and outer CV joints replaced. Interior has been well looked after and is very clean, i can not find any faults inside!
Bad points:
The bodywork on this car i would class as very good, but does have a few little dent/marks, nothing noticeable. The worst is what looks like something has fallen on the roof and left quite a large dent just on the side it is about the size of a 20p, if i get time i will get a dent removal company to fix this. Drivers side wing mirror has a scuff/crack and glass replaced. Wheel trims are a bit scuffed.
That is pretty much it, i do also have a collection of spares to go with this car, that i have accumulated over my years of buying polos, spare front bumper, front and rear lights, spare throttle body etc
This would make an ideal first car, as stated above all the normal bits that wear and go have been done so it should not need any work doing for a long time!
