Vauxhall Corsa 2002 SXi – Silver. 121,000 miles.
Two lady owners from new.
This car has been regularly serviced (12 stamps in the
service book and serviced last year). It’s
been completely reliable and has never let us down. In between services we have
regularly checked the oil and kept it topped up (the Corsas do seem to burn a
bit, we have had 2 in the family and both used a little).
Engine runs well and sounds good, 4 new spark plugs
recently. Still rides and handles well, no issues, brakes are strong.
MOT until 11 March 2017. 2 chips on the windscreen which it
passed with last year but would ideally be replaced. Some other advisories on
last MOT but nothing too scary and it may still pass with no work. However in
the interests of honesty these were: front offside suspension bush debonding, centre
exhaust leak, rear coil springs corroding (common), windscreen (as above).
Interior in very good condition; dash is all unmarked and
the cloth seats are clean and unstained. Rear seats hardly used.
Exterior in good condition for age, paintwork cleans up
nicely. A few scuffs here and there but no dents. Alloys in good condition
although the normal parking scratches on a couple.
Tyres – fronts replaced in the last 12 months with matching
Goodyears. The rears are matching Avons. All 4 tyres have lots of tread.
Bad points: CD player currently has 2 CDs stuck in it.
Could be a good first car for someone with some cosmetic TLC
and an MOT, or for spares with lots of good parts.
Selling due to having another 2 cars meaning it’s no longer
needed. We have had many happy miles in Connie the Corsa and will be sad to see
her go.
