This is my VX Insignia 2.0 CDTI that I have owned for nearly four years. Recently serviced at 141000 but has now developed a few issues. Would be great car for someone with skills to put it right.Good parts:Working Remote key (one key only)Stereo/CDElectric front windowsBody work in very good condition Current MOT (26/02/2019)Cambelt and water pump changd at 115,000Electrics work wellNo warning lights - however, oil pressure light comes on some mornings but goes off quickly. No issue with pressure and is common fault.Space saver wheelV5 present
Bad points requiring attention:Dual Mass Flywheel and Clutch require replacingPower steering has, I believe, failed. Very noisy and hard at low speed.Engine judder at low speed - possible injector issue
I am not a mechanic so this is what I believe is wrong.
Car was booked in for dual mass flywheel and clutch change when steering issue occured so change of plan and vehicle now offered as spares or repair and new car purcahsed.Vehicle still drives but gears stiff to get into.45mpg+ on avge. I have done the last 82000 miles and most on longer journies where car runs really well.Car loc. 4miles from Kettering in NN14.Call 07455 390301 for details - at reasonable hour please :)
