For sale is one owner, metallic red, 3-door, 5-speed, VW Polo 1.2 E 55. It was registered to its only owner (elderly gentleman) on 26 June 2006 and has covered just 38,379 miles with a full service history (see below), the last service having been carried out on 21 May 2016 at 37,853 miles, less than 1,000 miles ago so will not need servicing again for at least another year.
This model VW is fitted with a timing chain so no need to worry about changing the timing belt.
The car has an MOT until 04 March 2015 and under the new DVLA regulations the Polo comes without tax.

Interior
The Polo is finished in a light grey with a multicolour stripe pattern and is in excellent overall condition with no rips or tears and the car has never been smoked in so there are no unpleasant odours. The carpets have been protected by mats so also remain in excellent condition. It comes with power steering, CD/radio and central locking as standard.
Exterior
The metallic red paintwork is really bright with no fading and is in overall good condition. I have examined the car with a fine toothcomb and the points to note are: a scratch, stone chips and marking to the bonnet; a scratch on the top ledge below the offside rear window; marking and a scratch to the offside rear panel just by the filler cap; scratching to the top ledge just below the passenger window (which has been touched up); scratching to the edge of the nearside roof (also been touched in) and a couple of small other stone chips. Most of these are not noticeable until up close to the car but I have tried to capture them in the additional photos to try and avoid any disappointment so I encourage you to look at the pictures (see link below) or better still come and view/test drive the car in person.
The 4 tyres were replaced on 26 March 2016 at 37,071 so have covered just over 1,000 miles and the spare is also unused. There is some minor scuffing to a couple of the wheel trims.

Overall
I have driven the Polo for about 50 miles and it drives exceptionally well as you would expect from such a well maintained and cared for one owner car. The steering, gearbox and clutch are very light and easy to use. The Polocomes with all the factory manuals and fully stamped service booklet in the original VW folder together with 2 keys. If you are looking for a highly economical car that is cheap to insure that will not require spending any money on it for some considerable time then this will be ideal – perfect for a first time driver.
The car has been HPI checked and has not been subject to any insurance claim nor is any finance outstanding.

I have described the car as accurately as possible and am very particular, however we all have different opinions and I would urge you to come and inspect/test drive the vehicle to satisfy yourself.
