Hi there and welcome to my auction for a 2002 Volkswagen Polo 6n2 1.4 Black 3 door.
I bought this car back, in December, to use as a daily to tide me over while I restored my old MK2 Golf GTI. As this is now coming to an end, the Polo is surplus to requirements.
The car has covered 88,226 miles and is always run on super unleaded petrol.
A full service was carried out on the 18th January 2019 with invoice and stamp in the book. All drive belts including the cam belt (gates) were done on the 7th February 2019 also with invoice and stamp in the book. The car is MOT’d till December 2019.
As far as the engine goes it’s mechanically sound, performs as it should and always starts on the button.
Comes with the original VW wallet containing owners manuals and booklets etc. 2 VW keys. The car has only had 2 owners prior to me.
The car does have its fair share of scratches and marks as to be expected from a car of its age. The passenger sill does have a dink in it. A couple of bits of trim have come off inside the car. Please bare in mind the car is in excess of 17 years old.
Passenger door has to be unlocked and locked from inside the car.
There is a slight rubbing noise when sharply turning right (i.e at a roundabout), There is a light on the dash, which Volkswagen have confirmed is a rear wheel speed sensor, which I have purchased and included, but not fitted.
It’s an ideal first car, or just as a runabout.
