Welcome to the sale of my Volvo V70XC Auto SE 2.4 T It is with much sadness that I’m selling this car as I love it! If you are looking for a Cross Country you’ll already know everything the V70 XC Auto SE 2.4 T has to offer, Four Wheel drive, Tow bar, PAS, Sun Roof,  Full Leather, Heated seats, Sat Nav, Electric this electric that…..so I’ll focus on the good and the bad! Good: MOT –                12 MonthsHistory –           Service history and receipts for work carried out. Tyres –               Fitted with 4 identical HIMALAYA M&S Tyres, very good. Engine –             Starts first time, ever time regardless of weather conditions and Runs great. Electrics –          Everything as it should, windows, sun roof, seat position, heater, AC, etc., etc. Lights –              All work, including spots Bodywork –      Good for age, small scuffs etc. nothing major.  Bad: Gear Box -         THIS IS WHY IT’S SPAIR or REPAIR - The gearbox has developed a problem where after an hour or so of use (sometimes less), it slips out of gear. Leave the car standing for a while it works again, which is why I’m able to move the car around on my drive. Having replaced the transmission oil myself the issue has not gone away and I don’t have the time or the money to keep trying things. It could be something simple or it could be a new box, I just don’t know. Dash messages – Needs resetting by a Volvo dealer or someone who know how. Regular Service and Brake fluid Levels need cancelling off. Rear wiper – Never worked, common on old V70.The Nylon cog inside the mechanism needs changing as it worn down.  So there it is, an honest car with an honest write up….over to you!
