Terms & Conditions “Empire Assets” is a portfolio management company, registered in England and Wales.
In most cases, “Empire Assets” trade used vehicles on behalf of company clients, traders and franchised dealers.
When selling vehicles on behalf of clients, they remain under the ownership of the clients, and not "Empire Assets".
“Empire Assets” are registered used vehicle traders, not retailers.
“Empire Assets” sell most items in the condition they are received, with true and honest pictures and descriptions to the best of the company’s knowledge.
It is the buyers" responsibility to confirm that the item purchased matches the description before signing the bill of sale.
Once the bill of sale is signed, all sales are final unless an additional warranty has been purchased; in which case, repairs, (if any) will be dealt with by the third party in question only, not “Empire Assets”.
“Empire Assets” never pressure buyers to purchase any item and “Empire Assets” always allow all buyers to fully inspect every item and buy them at their own free will.
A minimum of £200 deposit is required to secure any item.
Any item, including its keys and documents can only be released to the buyer once cleared funds are received by “Empire Assets” in full.
Once the item is secured, it must be collected within 7 days, unless a different timescale is agreed prior to deposit being taken.
If the item is not collected within the given timescale; it will be relisted for sale and the deposit will be forfeited by the buyer.
Once a sale is agreed in principal, or if the buyer wins the car through eBay auction, they must contact us within 48 hours to arrange collection of the item.
All items are sold as seen with no warranties given or implied, unless an additional warranty is purchased by the buyer.
Third party Warranties (Engine and gearbox cover, parts & labour) are available on all cars; from just £30 per month.
Credit and finance is not offered on any sales, unless agreed beforehand in special circumstances.
“Empire Assets” accept all major credit and debit cards; valid ID must be produced matching the name on the card.
Cash on collection, bank transfer and cheques are also accepted, subject to funds being cleared before the item is released.
