A very well looked after very good condition low mileage survivor,I bought it from a scrap yard with a couple minor problems, sorted those out and motd it and have used it every day since it’s as close to perfect as you’ll find everything works even the old Nokia in the centre and I have the number and top up card, its got optional extras, sat nav, phone, electric rear seats, rear foot rests, electric rear blind, soft close boot, cd changer, power fold mirrors. it’s totally original not been messed about with in any way it drives like a dream proper smooth power delivery and the gearbox changes perfect.
Now it has got a couple of bad bits as any 20+ year old car would, the headlining has started to drop at the rear a very common thing for e38s, the pixels where the mileage is don’t work again another common thing for e38s the mileage is unknown at the moment but going by the mot history it is either just under 100k or just over, the rear arches are getting scabby but are still solid.
The prices of these just keep going up and apparently there is only two 740illeft on the road
