this auction is for a Saxo vts 16v 1.6 twincam track car /project .we started this about a year ago in view to putting it on the track for a bit of fun but never got round to finishing it and we could do with the space so its got to go.it has had a new cambelt fitted /new front pads and discs /rear pads and disc /plugs / coil pack /goodridge hoses all round .the rear axle has had new bearings fitted and has been lowered approx 25mm with new uprated shock fitted to the rear . the front has had new 25mm lowered springs fitted (standard shocks still on front).its got good tyres all-round and runs well also has  air induction cone filter fitted . there is no real corrosion underneath just the standard slightly scabby inner sills to be expected in a car of the age.bad bits are that it need a new battery (been sat up for a year) and needs a new drivers seat (it got damaged when it was out of the car in the workshop) its only resting in there so i could move it .the passenger seat is fine.and i think the steering rack might need replacing (makes a bit of a knocking noise).the reason its not road legal at the moment is the abs system has been completely removed  ie pump/ecu/wiring. and there is no cat fitted. apart from that its all there and working. but lets just make that point again it will not pass an mot in its current state so dont buy it then complain .its done about 82000 miles any question just ask or call on 01444 474611. mon day to fri 8.til5.30 car is in haywards heath mid sussex can arrange to have it trailered locally (about 20miles) for £50 extra via a friend.reserve is sensible just to cover some of the parts .
