Hello, Reluctantly its come time to sell my xm its stood for at least 18 months so it has no MOT and I have not found the time to get it back on the road which is unfortunate because I loved driving it so much.
its a late series 1 car with the old style dash and rear spoiler
THE 1ST PIC IS FROM WHEN I HAD THE CAR ON THE ROAD the rest are of the car now
when I first got the car I had the cam belt and water pump changed for peace of mind.
it has 134038 miles on the clock Its not done many since I have had it
I have had the car for 4 years and its had New spheres on all 4 corners plus the accumulator sphere, new radiator, new alternator and new back box
I also had the exhaust manifold gasket replaced as well
I had to have some welding done when I got it to the front passenger side wheel arch and it will need some to the drivers side sill in front of the back wheel. see photo
when the car was parked it drove really well and the suspension worked properly.
currently it does start up and rise and fall as it should do, and selects drive and reverse ok.
the body work on the car is pretty straight it does have some lacquer peel on both front wings though please see photos, also the plastic trim piece above the rear numberplate is cracked. see photo
being an old Citroen it did have some foibles which were
The sunroof does not leak and it will open upwards but will not slide open. engine management light came on occasionally as did the abs lightthe heater is stuck blowing on the front screenSound comes out of the right hand side speakers and intermittently comes out of the left hand side
