These vehicles were based on a re-bodied donor vehicle. The re-body required only the body panels, interior and exhaust to be changed and did not affect the vehicle in any other way. The vehicle used here was a genuine 57,000 miles 2001 Ford Cougar V6 2.5 24 vale with 168bhp and 220n, of torque that was HPI clear.
This car was designed as a aesthetically tribute to the 2009 - 2015 Ferrari 458, valued at £130,000 - £150,000, allowing the owner to surpass the purchase, running, maintenance and depreciation costs of a Ferrari which could run into tens of thousands of pounds per year.
