Welcome to the sale of my Lotus Elise 111S 2005. Iv"e had this car for 9 months and in that time it has had recently over 2k worth of work to the engine comprising of head gasket and cylinder head rebuild all performed by Lotus Northwich, Cheshire with paperwork to prove. Also the radiator and all the coolant pipes were replaced and all new wheel bolts, alternator belt and bracket and a service. You"ll see that there"s a manufacturers warranty of 2 years, what i mean by this is that the work that was done by Lotus at Northwich comes with a 2 year warranty so that should give you peace of mind should you be the one to buy this car, yes the head gasket is literally under warranty! If you know these engines you"ll know that this is the only thing that would typically go wrong. Full extensive service history, recently found as I thought it was lost! Had a rolling road test done last month, its running 170bhp at the wheels and 148.5 at the wheels, with the paperwork to show. I myself fitted a short shifter which feels great! There"s also a 52mm throttle body and a cold air feed which made a noticeable difference to the performance. The overall condition of the car is 9.5/10 I"d say, very very good indeed considering its a 13 year old car, and these are only going up in value as they"re very rare! Mot was done in February with only the check engine light on which was caused by a slightly loose alternator, tightened that up and haven"t seen it since, other than that it flew through! Plenty left on the tyres, cam belts were also done at Lotus recently, along with the VVC mechs all rebuilding and resealing. The car goes well, and handles incredibly! 2 sets of keys. I"m selling this as I"m buying a house and don"t need 2 cars anymore, I"m also going to Cyprus for 2 years soon so there"s really no more point in having it. The interior is in pretty good nick but the side sills are showing signs of wear from getting in and out, though this is purely cosmetic. Any inspection is welcome, I"m in Chester in the week and Staffordshire at weekends, dont hesitate to ring or text on 07534974735. Mileage will go up a little bit as i still use it for getting to work and back but it wont rise by too much. Its also had a new front clam as I damaged the old one, nothing significant though at all, simply took a chunk out of the corner of the bumper and this has been repaired on my insurance, probably not even worth mentioning to be honest. Its the perfect time of year to buy a car like this with this glorious weather so get yourself a great economical convertible sports car that handles brilliantly in time for the summer and have peace of mind knowing the head gasket and other engine parts are under warranty by Lotus until around September time next year, what more could you need! Thats an old pic of the mileage too, its about 92-93k now.
