Here we have my MK2.5 Mx5 1.8SVT Sport for sale, I bought this car to slowly turn into a track car, I bought this from the previous owner who had it for 10 years! so it had been not been passed around, I have lots of paperwork for the car including a new roof with a heated glass screen only a couple of years ago
Its the SVT so has the bigger brakes and Torsen LSD as standard as well as factory under braces, car still feels tight
I have fitted a new Exedy Clutch and also had the flywheel skimmed so it matched the new clutch
changed the gearbox to 5spd out of MK2 RS as the 5spd box is a slicker and has a nicer feel than the standard 6spd
Full service of all fluids, Oil and Oil filter, Gearbox Oil and Turret Oil, Diff oil and Brake fluid
New rear wheel bearing and 4 wheel alignment also carried out at the same time
recently Fitted a Roll over bar, mounted to the rear legs and floor pan so its a lot safer than the style bars
quick release front bumper
stripped out interior, carpets and sound deadening removed
also fitted a OMP drivers bucket seat, running on standard seatbelt but ideally requires a harness fitting
included with the car is a full timing belt kit and water pump, not had a chance to fit these yet because of work commitments but they"re included in the sale
Also have the door cards and centre console to come with the car but no carpets
Bad points
Both windows don"t work, snapped cable on both regs
Arch rusty on drivers side but sill seems okay
Couple of marks on the bodywork but overall the paint is good
