Looking for a cheap runner, with silly low miles, with a fresh 12m MOT, that actually drives surprisingly well ??
Then look no further, here for less than a grand with 1/4 tank of fuel in it..........
Taken in px against my own Vw T5 Transporter van is this Proton Gen 2, so will be sold as a private sale by me....
Driven from sunny Leeds all the way, 80 miles ish, to me a month or so ago
Now ill be honest i know nothing about these cars, and on taking the car in i did say to the trader who bought my van i was going to scrap it........
HOWEVER, I thought the car was worth giving to my MOT tester for a £40 mot fee,
On testing it, said it only needed rear brake discs and pads, and a flexi hose for the exhaust, so here it is, with a FRESH 12m MOT, advisory for an oil leak, that isn"t obvious on my drive way.......
So the car is a 1 owner car, with my self on the new log book....
Has only done 49950 miles, and has a part history......
To be honest the car looks better on the photos , not often i say that.......
Im not going to sugar coat this car, its cheap for a few reasons......
The car books at £1600 with these few miles, but has a few faults:
- The front electric windows do not work,
- The driver window does drop a cm or so ever now and again,
- I"ve broken the rear drivers door handle, it did open, but will now only open from inside the car, see photo,
- There is lacquer peel to the front drivers door, and front bumper,
- The alloy wheels have been painted badly,
- Silicone is holding most of the door rubbers in place .......
And thats about it........
On the plus side the heater works, stereo works, and the beige interior has just had a full valet.........

- Multi function steering wheel,
- Alloy wheels , all tyres with 4mm Thats about it......
BODY WORK:
As mentioned there is lacquer peel to the drivers door and front bumper,
There is a graze to the rear passenger bumper,
The are chips to the rear drivers bumper,
Alloy wheels , especially the rear passengers has been painted ......
SERVICE HISTORY:
There are 5 stamps in the book to 2011,
This is a 1 owner car from new, so there must have been a service here and there but nothing mentioned, so please dont ask about last service, and cambelt changes, as i have no idea.......
THE CAR HAS:
- UK V5 in my name,
- 1 key,- New mot to 30/11/2022,
- Invoice for brake pads, discs and coil pack,
- Proton Book pack......
SUMMARY:
So there it is a cheap runner, with a full years mot, 1/4 tank of fuel in bright shiny red , with a few issues......
The car starts and drives very well, surprising for a Proton car i"ve never seen before.
Suitable for take away drivers, dog taxi, skip runs, or a cheap runner you should get your money out of in 3-4 months when the winter has disappeared .....
Make me a sensible offer, and drive away into the sunshine....
The car will be sold with absolutely NO warranty what so ever, due to the above mentioned faults, that i have no desire to put right, please make sure your aware before you view, many thanks
