My Rover 100 knightsbridge SE is for sale.
In kingfisher blue metallic
10 months MOT
53000 miles
Head gasket done.
Mechanically sound.
I have done 500 miles plus in it and would not be worried if the winning bidder is 200 miles away. It will be fine for that run.
Inside the interior is clean with and tidy with no rips in any seats or carpets. All seats look as good as the drivers one I have photoed
The orignal Rover stereo works but the display doesn"t light up. happy to fit a non standard CD player in with your sale if the winning bidder advices they want me to do that. The centre locking does not work any more but its failed in a way that the car can be used as a manual locking car.
Bodywork looks smart on the paint work. It"s had 2 new rear wheelarches and sprayed in the kingfisher blue to finish them. Each wheel arch has been done at separate times and I say the passenger side is better than the drivers side. See photos
When it was MOTED the tester gave some advisories. It"s had a new driver track rod end and a passenger bottom arm which were both MOT advisories. But the main advisories about the car and is why I say it"s not mint in a previous year the floor has been welded from the inside and not unsealed from the outside. I have now had all the loose underseal off and the floor has been undersealed fully now stopping water getting to the repairs. The car is sturucturally sound but it has had welding in its life also the rear panel behind the bumper has a small hole in it but as the MOT tester pointed out that its not structural. To look at the car and drive it you are not aware of the floor repair or its problem. However I"m being honest about what I"m selling.
To summarise if you want a Metro/ 100. As an everyday car or will enable you to start out on the classic Metro scene then this is cheap and reliable and will do that job. Its a useable example.
