Sadly its time to move on from our Rexton, after 10 years of trouble free motoring, We were going to part ex it against a new Hyundai we are buying next week but the car developed some issues last week and its now evident that the clutch is slipping badly and its not suitable to drive. I put it int our local garage with a code reader to clarify if it was anything else other than the clutch / linkage and he confirmed it was the case. I have put a photo of his bill on here showing the faults and his recommendation. The car has just under 65000 miles on the clock, we bought it from the main dealers in Derby, with the first owner being the garage owner, we had it from March 2005 and have only put on 55,000 miles in 10 years. Its had an easy life and only towed our tiny vintage caravan twice, nothing heavy and has never been off road, not even in the snow. We have always put the best tyres on it that we can and it has had 2 new rear tires this March, and 2 new rear brakes fitted at the same time. It has had some of its glow plugs replaced and has the signature tricky one left in for fear of damaging it. 
The interior is full black leather and has recently had a £150 valet, its been used since then but is in really good condition, the seat bolsters are also fine considering the age. the carpets on the passenger side and rear are in great condition as is the boot space, the drivers footwell carpet has a high level or wear but this is covered by the mat. the headliner and door cards are clean and the car has never been smoked in, the fake wood trim is in good condition and the car has a good clarion face off head unit. It has privacy glass to the rear of the car and the boot area. I have some vehicle graphics on the outside of the glass to advertise my business but these will be professionally removed before sale. The exterior has age related scuffs, dings and scratches, highlighted by the fact the car is metallic black and hides no sins.There are avenger sidesteps fitted and 5 factory alloys in good condition, the spare is a bit flaky but perfectly usable. 
Its a pity that this clutch issue has arisen as its a great car and we have driven it to various parts of the UK in total comfort and reliability, so much so we have chosen another Korean brand. It could be an expensive fix for someone but an affordable fix to someone with the correct knowledge, resource to pats and mechanical know how. I have been as honest as I can, the car will drive but at high revs, the MOT is up in January 2016 and you will need to arrange your tax due to the new laws. I personally would trailer it if going any major distance. THe car is in West Wales a few miles past Tenby, please be aware of this as its pretty much the last stop before Ireland and a hell of a long way to travel to tyre kick or have a natter. .I cant deliver, don"t want to swap anything . I"ve put on a sensible price and hopefully its something that someone can fix. please feel free to contact me should you need any more info , thanks for reading
