Subaru Outback Re Boxer TD. This car is in exceptional condition having been serviced every year since new - all main dealer with one exception - last serviced in August. MOT to June 2022. Interior and exterior are virtually unmarked save for the alloys all 4 of which are badly in need of a refurb (it has an unused full sized alloy spare so you can see what they should look like!
Earlier this year I bought a caravan without doing as much research as I should and that led me in turn to buy this to use as an occasional tow car. However whilst it is well able to cope, and is within its legal towing limit, it"s nose weight tolerance is too low and in order to load the caravan to match it the outfit becomes unstable and the caravan has twice started to snake, which I have no wish to repeat. That is the only reason for selling this car, which I like very much - more than the large 4x4 that I have bought to replace it.
The front tyres are recent Pirelli, which have done 2000 miles and the rear ones have plenty of tread. Contrary to what you might read this is a chain cam engine. These cars need to be looked after and this one has been!
