Here we have my 1991 Toyota Corolla gt-i16 for sale, owned for the last 11 years, fully restored around 6 years ago, resprayed at the same time, even all the inner arches were stripped right back and freshly undersealed in white too, car sits on fensport springs and g-max uprated shocks, although where it has been sat the offside front shocker does squeak every now and then.Outside I tried keeping it as close to original as I could apart from a set of wind deflectors, janspeed exhaust, set of 17 alloys, rare rear crystal lights imported from South Africa and the front bumper slats cut out, I also removed the boot lock for a fresh tailgate look, the boot is still operational from the interior popper. Interior is immaculate, Toyota don"t build interiors to last like this anymore, all dial faces have been uprated to white with red detailing, oil pressure sits perfectly also. Everything electric works, electric Windows, central locking, electric sunroof all works. Also fitted is a set of vernier cam pulleys from a celica for optimal timing, a rare clear cambelt cover shows this off just right, engine bay is quite detailed all the way down to the brake pipes being painted, I have so many pictures of the car it"s unreal, any further pictures then please ask.Many rare optional extras come with the car, cassette holder, centre arm rest with storage, rare as hens teeth headlamp protectors, rear parcel shelf Toyota speakers etc Only selling as I hardly use it anymore, needs to go to a loving new home, never once let me down or skipped a beat, these things go on forever and a day, you get retro with reliabilityFolder full of receipts from when I brought the car, lived it"s life on the Isle of Wight and is 1 of 2 left over here now, the rest have all gone.Stereo is all upgraded and I still have the original cassette tape deck that will come with the car if needed along with the standard steering wheel, alpine head unit with iPod dock in the glovebox, alpine front components and infinity rear 6x9"s in the shelf along with 2 12 alpine subs powered by a Sony old school amp, all works perfectly and sounds good.
Bad points as with any old car, baring in mind that it"s 25 years old now, and I"m quite picky with detail, the rear arches were repainted around 4 years ago due to tiny rust issues which have been sorted out, minor scuff to rear bumper, tiny blemish on sunroof (those who know these cars will know how hard it is to fine a Gti with a perfect sunroof) the engine does give a little puff of smoke on hard acceleration, but nothing major. Could benefit from having the tracking set up due to different wheels fitted
Will be sad to see it go and it has won me a good few trophies at car shows and the attention it gets is incredible, just parking it in the town and you just get random people come up and start asking all about it, the amount of spares I have collected over the years is crazy, I have boxes of stuff in the shed, all available for the new owner, also comes with a standard set of alloys if needed too
I am located on the Isle of Wight, 45 mins from Portsmouth and Southampton etc, am willing to meet at local ferry ports or collect you in person if you travel over here
