Up for auction is my TVR Chimaera 450 (the one to have)Outstanding history everything that"s been done has been documented, original TVR hand book. 2 sets of keys. Last owner for 8 years11 months MOTPower steering model All the electrics and buttons work windows are a bit slow but fully workingAfter market wheels I think they look great, but the original wheels come with the car. They are in perfect condition and do NOT need a refurb but they do need tyres. Starts first turn, runs great, oil pressure is great and the fan kicks in when needed. Onto the car. Great colour but the paint isn"t perfect it shines up very nice as you can see in the photos but there are the usual stone chips and marks here and there. If you want a £15k-£18k show car then paint work would be needed. Not a full respray just some areas tidying. The underside and chassis is in good solid shape just take a look at the photos I"ve had it up on a ramp this week (when the photos were taken) the black areas on the white chassis are just dirt. Yes I could of cleaned it off but I"m not tarting the car up to sell it will sell as is. The interior is in all round good condition. The dash, door cards etc are great and will clean up nicely with very little effort. The seats are tired and need some attention. The passenger seats not to bad but the drivers side is poor there are no rips and may clean up with colour treatment. Carpets definitely need replacing but are readily available at little cost. Roof as you can see is in very nice condition. Engine bay again as you can see is nice and tidy but would benefit from a clean. This week the car has been into a TVR/LOTUS specialist an had the once over. We found it needed a new hand break cable, it did pass the MOT but it was replaced anyway. A new steering UJ was also fitted and finally a new track rod end. Fluids were all checked. In short a great looking TVR Chimaera 450 that with little effort and money will only go up in value.
