Full rebuild underneath
I have owned my 1989 2.9 S2 since August 2015 when I bought it from the previous owner who had just completed a body-off chassis rebuild. In addition to the chassis works, it had a host of new and refurbished parts fitted (brakes, suspension, bushes, exhaust etc). Underneath looks outstanding.
Unfortunately, shortly after purchasing I injured my knee and that combined with other time pressures mean that I have driven it just a handful of times and it’s been stored in the garage since purchase.
The current mileage is 59,100 and is evidenced by the stamped service book and old MOT certificates. The car still has its original service record, warranty booklet and owner’s manual in the original wallet. It is crystal black leather with flint leather interior. It comes with the original hood cover, targa panel bags and spare wheel cover. The hood looks to be original and although its serviceable there is a tear in the plastic window and replacing it would improve the cars appearance.
Its last MOT was on 23 October 2020 (no advisories), hasn’t been driven since. I’m located in Northampton.
