Golf Cabriolet /1.6 Auto /2001(51)
I am selling my golf due to it being driven into on 2 separate occasions by 2 pillocks (aka white van man ) !
I wasn"t in the car at either time so I never found out exactly who they were. But the damage is more than the car is worth and wont be repaired by insurers so........
I have had this car for almost 12 years and I hate to let it go but needs must. In the photo you can see both damages.
Rear area smashed in and trim bent.
Back light smashed and bumper scratched.
Ive never sold a car on ebay before so I will give as much info as I can think of but if you have any questions then please ask. The car isn"t at my home so you will sometimes need to wait for reply whilst they check.
For the age 2001 has usual wear and tear but nothing major other than obvious selling reason.
I forgot to check mileage but I think its 120,000.. I can double check if anyone needs confirmation.
Windscreen : Cracked
Gear box ; Working order
Windows : driver side regulator not working ( the motor part still works) and driver side rear needs a new fuse, The rest are working.
Cream Leather interior : Apart from driver seat all the others in good cond"n (heated front seats working order ) :
Hood : Working order
The car has been sitting on my parents drive for almost 4 months so it hasn"t been driven ...Sorry .. The hood needs a good scrub due to being sat in the rain for a while.
I tested the hood and battery yesterday and both in working order although the battery needed a boost but it literally started straight away  ( battery is 2 yrs old)
Within this year the car has had
Break pads, Discs and break hub (6 months)
Within 2yrs
Battery
Front suspension (passenger side)
Both door locks need replacing.. I have both keys.
Has alarm/immobliser
I fitted a wind breaker (see pic)
I can"t think of anything else .. but any questions ill be happy to answer.
My parents want their driveway back so I need to get rid of in a suitable time ....
It has been declared SORN so you will need a tow truck or similar.
The car is to be collected in BILLERICAY, ESSEX.
I don"t live far from where the car is but its not on my doorstep either so please take in to consideration that I cant have timewasters dragging me back and forth... I would like the car gone but I don"t want any time wasters..
