A 1976 M-series TVR from the Martin Lilley Era.
A TVR 1600m. A Ford Kent Cross Flow Engine. I believe it is the second Kent engine the car has had. The mileage reads 64623 on the speedo (will change as I drive it daily) but I doubt that this is an accurate reflection of the car"s life.
Most of the car is original. It runs really well and although it does not need to be taxed or MOT"d I got it MOT"d last month and, once the electrics had been revamped, it passed with flying colours.
The car has the optional Kenlow fan to cool it down in traffic. The wheels have just been completely refurbished and are going back on the car this weekend with brand new tyres.
I really don"t want to sell the car but family circumstances force it. The next job would be to repspray it and add new front bumpers but it is good enough at the moment. I have also acquired a 3 litre Ford Essex engine that needs a complete rebuild that I intended to replace the "Kent" with when it eventually needed an overhaul. This comes as with the car at no extra cost.
A rare opportunity to buy an awesome car. It pulls and handles beautifully. A real head turner.
