Hello there, for sale is a Reliant Robin LX. I recently came about this car after working on a job for an elderly gentleman and I received this car as payment. The last time this car was used and driven was back in 2013, it has been stored away in a garage ever since. This car is on a SORN and has no MOT. Unfortunately there is no log book however I have applied for one.
The overall condition of the interior and exterior is that it"s in really good condition for the age, please see the pictures for more detail on this. However the passenger side mirror glass is missing and paint has worn off the frame next to the windscreen on the drivers side. As again, please see pictures.
As you can see by the condition of this car, although it hasn"t been used since 2013, the owner constantly cleaned and looked after the car. And I believe that the car has been garaged for most of it"s life. It is now being dry stored in my shed. I don"t think you"ll find another 27 year old Reliant in this good of condition!
I"ve checked the car over, the radiator doesn"t seem to hold water. The battery is completely dead. I"ve tried another battery on the car to see if it would start, the car starts, revs high, runs for a little while and then stops. That"s as far as I"ve gone with the car. However when it does run, it sounds quite good. I"ve also tested the lights and and the front indicators are not working.
The tyres are good and as you can see from the last MOT, the only advisories were for the front wheel bearing. (You can check previous MOTs by doing an DVLA MOT check).

On 11-Feb-17 at 14:38:22 GMT, seller added the following information: We do believe all it needs to get it running properly is a carburetor rebuild kit. Also the colour is much more brighter and shiny yellow than it shows on the pictures.
