Initial Registration was made on 29th January 1991 (H874 YUW) by H.R.OWEN of LondonW1J 6EG. for display in their Showroom WindowThen subsequently, Re-Registered on 20th March1991 as RR 1 and Shipped to Switzerland forExhibition at THE GENEVA MOTOR SHOW,Upon it"s return to the United Kingdom it was onceagain put on display at LONDON"S EARL"SCOURT MOTOR SHOW in May of 1991.The Rolls was purchased at the Show by Mr Tassoulla Athanassoulia Pendias owner ofAnstasia Greek Foods Limited and Polaris Shipping Worldwide, who had homes in London,Greece, New York & Soul.
Due to the nature of his business interests, he apparently spent very little time in the U.K.and the Rolls-Royce only recorded 8000 oddmiles between 1991 and 2009.
When in the United Kingdom Mr Pendias it"s saidchoose not to drive, but instead used the Servicesof Jack Barclay limited, London SW8 5BA. forboth servicing and the provision of a QualifiedChauffeur, who would visit the Rolls in it"s under-ground Car Park at Hyde Park Corner, where itwas stored and remove it"s RR cover and Valet itand when necessary take it for Service.
Please note; the indoor cover has some marks of usage.
Unfortunately, in 2000 Mr Pendias became unwelland in 2004 aged just 70 he died, he apparentlymade very few visits to the U.K. from the start ofhis illness in 2000. in 2004 his Daughter AlikiGeorgia Pendias move to London and lived inGeorge St, and became Secretary of Polaris Ship-ping Limited.
Even after in 2004 moving to London, she did notdispose of her late Father"s Rolls until 2009. It wastraded against a new Rolls-Royce Phantom at H.R.Owen who in turn traded it to Bowling-RyanLimited of Bolton BL4 8EL from whom I thenpurchased it on 2nd July 2009. she had covered just 8350 miles when I collected her. it now hasjust 10208 miles on the clock, the last major over-haul/service was carried out by P & A Wood at9803 miles.
This Very, Very Special Collector"s is now againavailable, due to my impending move to a ListedThatched Cottage with NO Garaging Facilities and to compliment my Retirement my Wife now wants to join the Motorhome brigade, so offersare invited in the region of £28250.
