1995 TVR Chimaera Non Pas model
This car is in fantastic conditon externally, internally and most importantly chassis and outriggers too.
I have been a TVR owner for nearly 15 years and this is the best Chimaera I have driven (and I have viewed alot). Lots of upgrades including engine, body, suspension, exhaust, interior etc etc.
Spent most of its life in a collection with ferraris and bentleys and has been treated with the same level of detail
Started out as a 400 High Compression, previous owner upgraded the engine to a 4.3.
As usual people expect faults with a car like this and there are a couple but all very minor.
boot latch is tempremental, drivers window is slow, slight chip in windscreen, this week i have found the door locks have stopped working (presume just fuse as the ball no longer lights up either) and it has developed the hot start issue which is very common and it needs a kit to fix which is easily availble and fairly cheap.
In the last 2 weeks it has had a rear end respray, new dash, oil change and importantly a chassis examination by Central TVR who state it is good and a coat of waxoyl.
Unfortunately I have lost the folder which details the engine rebuild and also contains the service history, I have the second folder which details all the body work etc thats been done. I am more than willing to provide details of previous owners and the garage that used to service this car so the new owner can track it down themselves.
I live overseas so its just not getting used enough so its time to pass on and get a new project the other end. Car will need to be collected Thursday and cash on collection (I fly out Friday morning)
