1995 TVR Chimaera 4.0 HC
in Starmist Blue metallic. Unmolested. New Prussian Blue carpets with Biscuit leather interior.
Good service history and excellent condition throughout. A fast appreciating classic!
It’s always been well looked after and I’ve continued to treat it in the manner it has become accustomed to!
It’s had a re-spray in the recent past. One slight scratch on the rear bumper where it had an argument with a French bollard but apart from this it is as good as it looks in the pictures. When it’s not allowed out to play it’s kept in the garage where it’s plugged into a trickle charger. There is a history folder (not massive – it hasn’t needed much garage time) and a Steve Heath manual.
Chassis
Chassis is excellent. Outriggers very solid. This is one of the early ones when TVR were sub-contracting out the powder coating. These early ones seem to have resisted corrosion far better.
Every spring I give them a clean with a wire brush and renew the waxoyl where necessary
Interior
Bone dry. In October 2014 I returned it to the old factory in Blackpool where D&C Trim fitted new carpets and weather seals
Alloys
Re-furbed two years ago. Look like new
Engine.
Starts first time. Pulls like a train. Sounds as it should. Idles nicely
Exterior
Has had a re-spray in the recent past. In April 2015 it went back to the old TVR factory in Blackpool where D&C trim fitted a new hood and rear window
Miscellaneous
No alarm issues. No HPI worries. No Finance issues. Still has original bag for hard top
