1995 TVR GRIFFITH 500 HC 340bhp - COBALT BLUE WITH GREY HIDE
With a heavy heart and much consideration my Dad has decided to sell his beloved Griff 500 HC in favour of something a little more practical... my Dad has owned the TVR since 2002 (his car registered in his name) in this time the car has never spent a night left outside bar 2 European road trips.
41,500 Miles with all previous MOT"s to prove. Leven accesories handbrake, dash buttons. Car to have new MOT this week. Dashboard in perfect condition, white dials (factory spec from new) navy hood & hardtop in perfect condition, unused spare wheel, even comes with Steve Heath TVR Bible.
Serviced by myself during his ownership (Motorsport Engineer at Advanced Engine Research for 14yrs - working for various Le Mans Teams/World Series/GP3/Indylights) hence the car has been looked after mechanically with many many bills to prove.
In the last couple of years the Griff has had a brand new (not recon) Alternator and belt, new pair of uprated SPAL radiator cooling fans (manual over-ride switch fitted) powerflex Anti roll bar bushes, Goodridge braided brake hoses, new fuel pump, clutch slave cylinder plus normal service parts (oil changed on annual basis using Mobil 1)
I would say the Griff is in above average condition, a very honest cherished car, outriggers are rust free (fair weather driven only and dry stored as previously mentioned) Interior immaculate, geometry has been set up by a friend of mine (Chief Mechanic for BTCC Team) Avon ZZ3 tyres all round, rears half worn, fronts plenty of life. Front clam has a few stone chips but I can vouch that this car has never been painted/repaired in the last 14yrs. Car is obvioulsy HPI clear and not an insurance loss like many you see...
