For (reluctant) sale here is my non-import 1996 Mazda MX5 1.8 in green, which is being sold as spares or repairs. It could even be turned into a track car if you wanted.
I bought the MX last year when we had the rare summer, and it was used as my everyday car over the summer months before I took it off the road with the intention of giving it a much needed restoration (however time, money and space issues mean I now have to get rid). As it is the English version (i.e. not an import), it suffers from the usual rust problems to the sills, floor, front corners of the front wings and the rear wheel arches. It has been tidied/bogged up to a degree which I have tried to show on the pictures, but it definitely needs doing before it can pass its MOT and be put back on the road. In addition to this, the drivers side door has a small dint (see the pictures), the rear screen of the roof is taped up due to some tears, and I believe a couple of springs need replacing (I do have the springs, shockers and top mounts from the MK2 which I intended to fit, however these are NOT included in the auction. I am happy to include them if the car sells for £550, but other than that I will sell them separately).
On the plus side -- It contains a respectable amount of service history, - 82,500(ish) miles, - 2 Previous owners,- The engine fires up first time,- Gearbox is good,- The interior is in very good condition, with the drivers seat in particular showing few signs of wear,- Rear spoiler,- Alloys are in good condition and the tyres have a respectable amount of tread.
