1997 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Limited Auto Re listed
For sale my Jeep Cherokee due to change in circumstances, Jeep is tidy and drives very well. Recent full service and new springs and shocks. 4 new mud terrain tyres with spacers, been very well looked after and wanted for nothing. Last service was October last year at over £1600! Just had new MOT and a new crankshaft sensor fitted last week. No warning lights on the dash and all electrics work as they should. Full leather interior with front electric seats fully working, Remote locking with immobiliser.
There are a couple of negatives it is an old car,Missing one front fog light Leather is showing signs of age but no rips or tears, just cracking but still presents well and is very comfortable!The radio/speakers could do with replacing, it all works but the speakers are not the best! Would benefit from an updated stereo. Have only 1 remote fob but have 2 keys. Has various laquer peeling on the front and rear bumpers, bodywork is good and straight and is generally very tidy.
Sills have been replaced in the past to a very high standard, there is no rust in the Jeep that I can see it is very solid. The sills would benefit from a re paint as they have been painted black and I believe the original sills were body colour, never bothered me but just something to point out. Overall it’s a solid nice example that drives very well indeed, towed my twin axle caravan a few times with it and it tows with ease! Very powerful and sounds lovely. Tow bar electrics all work as they should. Genuine Jeep tow bar fitted not aftermarket. 4WD works properly, no clunking or noises. With a little time this Jeep could be made mint! It is very usable as is just would benefit from a tidy up here and there but it is an old car, one of the better ones I’ve seen for sure! Engine uses no oil or coolant, has 156250 miles, nothing for these engines, has a very slight power steering leak from somewhere that was advised on the MOT but I have never had to top the fluid up and doesn’t seem to leak on the drive. Car is located in Midhurst, West Sussex, using the car so milage may increase slightly.Viewing welcome.Please no time wasters, bid to buy. Any questions just askThanks for looking.
