Supplied new on 16 March 1997 by HR Owen of South Kensington (original sales invoice present) for the sum of £39,654.62. Original specification:- - pearl black pearlescent paint - full green hide - remote window closing - Griffith wheels - upgraded front and rear speakers - air conditioning.
Car was maintained at H R Owen and the following service receipts are available:- - 30 March 1997, 970 miles - 12 April 1998, 6,203 miles - 14 May 1999, 11,824 miles - 03 March 2000, 18,356 miles
On 12 December 2000 the car was sold for £20,500 to the second owner (receipt present) who serviced the car as follows:- - 22 January 2001, 23,734 miles at HR Owen - 05 July 2001, 27,572 miles at Mole Valley TVR - 22 March 2002, 33,711 miles at HR Owen - 18 July 2006, 48,247 miles at Springs Garage Newbury.
In early 2007 the car was sold again and I have numerous bills and mot"s including a declaration of scorn from April 2010 to 31 March 2011. During this ownership the following services were stamped in the book:- - 28 May 2008, 52,054 miles at Newbury Specialist Cars - 9 March 2012, 52,642 miles at R&B Vehicle Services - 23 March 2014, 52,665 miles at The Car Clinic Ltd, Newbury.
I purchased the car in January 2016 and in my ownership I have changed the oil and filter, fitted a new accelerator cable, replaced the engine and gearbox mountings, checked the gearbox and axle oil levels, checked the brakes and adjusted the handbrake, replaced the temperature gauge sensor and fitted new wiper blades. In addition I have had a new dash fascia panel installed and had the heater control module replaced.
The car drives well and pulls strongly in all cars. Handling is good and the car is shod with sticky toyo"s with plenty of tread left.
The cars comes with all books, an extensive file of bills and service receipts and a stamped service book.
Areas left to improve include potential replacement of carpet, which is showing signs of wear, and re nourishing of leather seats. The engine bay could do with a detail, two alloys need refurbishmentand there are stone chips to the front of the car.
The car sports it"s original outriggers which are in good condition and holding up well. The roof fits well with a clear rear screen.
The car is priced to sell.
