Yes, another one but check the specification and history as so many are crying out for work or TLCThis one , apart from being above average in looks and condition, has always been kept to a high standard.
When it came into my hands it had no drive and as previously l have been a mechanic l changed the auto box , torque converter, transfer box two u/j"s and a poor rear differential.Obtained from a 70000 mile car.
Getting in touch with the previous owner it was found to have had an intermediate engine overhaul some 50000 miles earlier which explained the quite exceptional engine , that runs very quietly with no oil burning or leaks.
I further saw to the replacement of the interior headlining and post covers in original grey cloth.
The electrics were of some concern to me as you come across some real horrors, so the Becm box was sent away and overhauled, then refitted with new key controll box, new key and fob from main dealer so making sure of immobiliser and central locking.There is the original key and fob available .
Suspension. Every one has different ideas about this. I favoured sticking with the air, as again it had fitted replacement air bags and is quite a unique system , so the pump was overhauled and the main electric control unit was sent for reconditioning of its solonoids, seals and valve units. Didn"t notice any differencebut it can now be considered trustworthy for a long time.
The bodywork is very good being in a deep Oxford blue and you can take it that all chassis and underbody is outstanding. The interior electric, heated nice grey leather seats are well above average . All clocks switches and other regalia all work and look impressive. The boot is first class with a rubberised over carpet. There is no spare wheel as the well has the LPG tank fitted. There is the original certificate with the car owners manual for this simple LPG system which again has been checked out and l use it all the time, making it more economical than my 4cyl Kia at only 59 pence per litre.
No expensive enhancements or goodies obviously a tow bar with 7 pin electrics.Clear plastic indicators on the front as the orange looked wrong but l have the originals if required. The cruise control works as does clock,headlamp wash wipe,CD player with option plug for ipad/update.The 18in alloys are good with no scuff marks.
No need to spend fortunes buying one of these cars , i"m looking for a reasonable sum for a seriously good model.Obviously the winning bidder may trial the vehicle and turn it down if any information here is incorrect which is unlikely, he may give me more money when he realises the bargain he has bought.Payment is requested via £100 paypal deposit immediately and balance by cash or BAC. I will happily deliver at cost only but prepayment required.The MOT is rather short so l will include new one.
