“Our beloved and beautiful Volvo has been an amazing family car but when our friend (who is a mechanic) told us that Volvie would fail MOT due to ABS light coming on/off sporadically, we have very reluctantly, decided to sell him as we haven't got the money to repair him before sending him in for this years' new MOT (he currently has a SORN since June 1st 2015.) The ABS light has been coming on/off sporadically for the past 12 months but luckily, it was off last MOT so it passed! Our mechanic has repeatedly told us (for the past 5 years since we became the lucky owners when we bought Volvie off an ebayer) that he's a brilliant car with a great engine. So, it's up to you...if you can 'tinker' with the ABS in order that it passes MOT, you've got a brilliant car here!”

Hello again all those who expressed a bid/interest. The highest bidder at £380 hasn"t paid or made any contact with us regarding the several messages that we have left for them so we are re-listing. Here goes that the right person makes a successful and immediate payment please this time, following their bid.
Our Volvo is amazing and we"re heartbroken that we have to say goodbye. It"s lovely to drive, the engine is great, despite the mileage. Yes, it still has the SPORT power of the T5, of course but we don"t drive it like that! We just needed a big family car to accommodate the pram, highchair etc when commuting to visit family back up north. Our son is now almost 6 so we"re not in so much need for the space anymore. Volvie is a uniquely "good looking" car - see photo"s and note the black grill on the front and the black out windows (which are great because you can nosey out but people can"t nosey in!) which makes him stand out from the crowd! Cream leather interior, heated seats, relatively new battery, 2 relatively new tyres on the front, although back ones will probably need replacing very soon. We have put 2 new headlights on which were only replaced last year and there is a fitted child booster seat in the middle of the back seat which is quite handy if you forget yours! Volvie has never let us down once and always starts first time. We have roof bars too if you need some and could make us a sensible offer or we could list them separately?
IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED:
passenger electric window doesn"t work, A/C doesn"t work (but it only needs refilling as it used to work when we first bought it, we"ve just not got around to refilling it) back windscreen wiper doesn"t work (probably new motor required) cruise control doesn"t work (although it was working when we got it so again, may need "tinkering", driver seat (upright part) got a rip in the leather from the previous owner who was quite a large man, there are a few dents, scratch marks which my wife added in her attempts at reversing onto our rather narrow drive at our previous house.
