up for auction is my fantastic little alfa!
i bought this car as a daily commuter for a few weeks while my project car was off the road and havent had the heart to sell it until now when funds are needed to finish it off!
this is quite a rare car, even rarer with it being the "super" edition which has more power, more toys and a very rare factory fitted body kit and spoiler!
ill start with the good -
10 months mot
tax til december
3.0 v6 24v engine - 223bhp! 0-60 in 6 seconds, which feels very fast for a large car
4 pot brembo front calipers
stainless steel exhaust, not some huge chavvy can poking out of the back, just two shiny factory looking 2.5" tail pipes, extremely quiet when your pottering about but when you put your foot down the v6 roar is there!
brand new downpipes x2 fitted less than 200 miles ago
x5 17" GTA alloy wheels all with new tyres
immaculate full momo black leather interior
heated, electric front seats
traction control
cruise control
sharpened throttle response button
built in sat nav

now for the bad -
there is a small rust hole just below the drivers side rear door, which was the one and only advisory on the mot as it hasnt reached the sill yet, i was quoted £40 to have this patched but didnt bother as the car was supposed to be getting sold soon after!
the blower fan doesnt work for some reason, i was told by the mot tester it may be a relay that needs changing but to be honest it hasnt bothered me due to having heated seats!
the front brakes sometimes squeel when coming to a very slow stop, there is plenty of life left in the pads and discs, i mentioned it to the mot tester who said it may just be the pads settling in as they look fairly new, it wasnt an advisory on the mot!
there are two very shallow scuffs on the rear bumper which almost disapear after a polish, they arent very noticable at all im just trying to be as thorough as i can with my description
the satnav needs updating with new maps to function, the cd can be had on ebay for £15 and you simply put it into the cd changer and it updates, i never leave bristol so havent had the inclination to get this done, plus who doesnt have an iphone, right?!
other than that everything works just as it should, the speakers still sound crisp and clear with a nice amount of bass, the handling is still nice and sharp and the engine pulls like an absolute train!
