 This Alfa GT has been ours for just under two years. We bought it with 47,000 miles on the clock.
Ownership has not been trouble free as this is an Alfa. We have always looked after the car. We have only used 10w60 oil and we have had frequent services. We bought the car with no previous history except a cam belt change at 36,000 miles. The cam belts were recently changed at 69,000 miles (we have the receipt as proof).
The GT failed its MOT and rather than have the work done I would rather sell. the failure certificate is in the photo gallery. It needs to have 3 injectors replaced to solve its misfire problem. We had one replaced in May. It is an expensive job with all the cost on labour. Unfortunately the garage did not see fit to replace all of them at that time. The cost of replacing 3 injectors was quoted as £800. Each injector is £80.
That is not the cars only problem. Once the injectors have been fixed there is no telling if any damage has been done to the Catalytic converter. That is the gamble with the car.
The rear near side brakes are sticking and a front suspension arm needs replacing.
The car has done 83,000 miles and has some stone chips on the front and sides. There is also a ripple in the rear bumper but it is small and was there when we bought the car.
The drivers door is missing the button to adjust the side mirrors.
The Drivers seat does not flip forward to allow rear passengers to get out. We have two kids and have lived with this for 18 months. It is just a cable that needs to be replaced.
All lights and other electrics work perfectly. The leather is all one piece and is very comfortable. When this car works it drives magnificently, the best front wheel drive car I have ever driven.
 This car would suit a mechanic or enthusiast who can do the work them selves and therefore land a B road barn storming bargain. Otherwise it could be used as parts but that would be a shame.
